I have been a massage therapist since 1992 with a background working in physical therapy and chiropractic settings. I owned and operated Yakima Massage Therapy Clinic, in WA state. The focus of my practice was post-injury treatment.

Later I furthered my education to include nursing school and graduated from my RN program with honors. I incorporated massage into my nursing practice and used it as a natural alternative and adjunct to pain medication in the hospital setting.

Your business is very much appreciated as are each of my wonderful clients.

I was about five years old when I gave my first massage. My "daddy" used to lie on the couch and watch the evening news after dinner. I would stand at his head and give him a scalp massage. He would inevitably doze off which always ended up with me "fixing his hair".  My little red purse was always loaded with pink sponge curlers, bobby pins and various barrettes. I wish I had a photo of the end results, it is one of my earliest and fondest memories of my father.

From there I went on to be the in high demand at family camp-outs as I would go behind each person seated around the campfire and massage shoulders and necks.
When my mom came home from a long day at work I would sit on a footstool and give her a much-deserved foot massage.

My first job in a therapy field was as a physical therapy aide. From there I decided to attend Massage Therapy School in Washington State where I graduated at the top 3% of my class. I got Nationally Certified and opened my own clinic. I gained more insight in my field by serving for three years as a volunteer on the American Massage Therapy Association, Washington State Board as 3rd Vice-President, Education Chair and Convention Coordinator. It was a rewarding and educational experience.

I now own "Massage Therapy". My practice is located in Hamilton, MT. A small town nestled in the beauty of the Bitterroot Valley.

In my off time I enjoy family and friends, hiking, fishing and hunting with my husband, Michael. I make handmade books: journals, address, cookbooks to name a few. I enjoy pyrography and sketching and my most recent passion is owning and training two miniature horses. I have a wonderful dog, Molly and a reclusive cat, Samantha.
